Our 12th Annual Tournament and 1st Annual Wine Tour, both held on August 9, 2010 was a tremendous success! Many of our friends (old and new) and supporters were on hand for a fantastic day. Below are photos from the fabulous wine tour - photos of the golf event are coming soon.
The event would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of Committee Members Larry Cohen, Alan Cohen, Laurie Criden, David Desmon, Sue Goldberg, Jack Karet, Alan Rosenhoch, Howard Rosenhoch, Larry Schreiber, Hynda Zabel, Jeff Zimmer.
The financial success of the event is due to our participants, donoros and sponsors. In addition to generous sponsors listed below, we thank all those who joined us for the wine tour, round of golf or dinner.
We look forward to seeing all of you again next year!

For those on the Winery Tour (photos below), the day started with a visit to Freedom Run Wineries on the Niagara Escarpment. Tasting at Freedom Run, in their one of a kind, art-filled tasting room, was a delightful experience.
The tour then continued at Arrowhead Spring Vineyards where the focus is on barrel-aged wines from both estate vineyards and locally grown grapes with an emphasis on organic, sustainable farming.
The tour finished with dessert, of course. In the midst of vineyards dating back to the 1800's, and tended by three generations of family viticulturists, Niagara Landing is an Award-winning winery. |
